High Tensile
High tensile fence is a highly effective and economical fence option for a variety of livestock, most notably beef and dairy cattle. Use of the appropriate materials and high tensile’s ease of maintenance allows this to be a great, long lasting fence option to properly confine your livestock.

High tensile specifications
Wire
- 200,000 psi tensile strength offering incredible durability and performance
- Benzinal coated wire that significantly outperforms Class 3 galvanized wire in the prevention of rust
- Superior rust prevention, especially with 200 miles of the ocean and along roadways where crystal salt and brine solutions are used.
Bracing
- Solid braces are vital to a durable, long lasting fence. Braces are constructed with no less that 5-6” x 8’ posts with at least an 8’ horizontal braces. For certain applications, posts may be up to 6-7” by up to 10’, and / or installation of additional braces for the appropriate fence tension support. Horizontal braces available as pressure treated posts or galvanized schedule 40 pipe.
In-line Posts
- CCA pressure treated posts installed that include 5-6” x 8’, 4-5” x 8’, 5-6” x 7’, and 4-5” x 7’ depending on the specific requirements of the fence projects design and client preference.
- Installed at intervals typically ranging from 20’ – 27’ depending upon the number of wires and elevation changes of the land where fence is installed.
Poly Coated Wire
Poly coated wire, specifically hot cote, is a type of wire recommended for horse fence rather than standard high tensile wire as it is a safer material that reduces the risk of injury.

Poly Coated Wire Specifications
Wire
- High tensile galvanized wire coated with a UV resistant polymer capable of delivering an electric shock.
- Thicker polymer coating offers a safe and effective electric alternative to regular high-tensile wire.
Bracing
- Brace wire is installed with protective covering and in a way that reduces the likelihood of horse injury.
- Braces are constructed with no less that 5-6” x 8’ posts with at least an 8’ horizontal braces. For certain applications, posts may be up to 6-7” by up to 10’, and / or additional braces for the appropriate fence tension support.
- Horizontal braces available as pressure treated posts or galvanized schedule 40 pipe.
In-line Posts
- CCA pressure treated posts installed that include 5-6” x 8’, 4-5” x 8’, 5-6” x 7’, and 4-5” x 7’ depending on the specific requirements of the fence projects design and client preference.
- Installed at intervals typically ranging from 15-25’ depending upon the number of wires and elevation changes of the land where fence is installed.
Solar Farm Fence Systems
Solar farms, typically located in rural areas, are most appropriately enclosed and protected with agricultural type fence systems rather than industrial fences. 8’ woven with pressure treated posts offer a great option for enclosing these solar farms that fit the surroundings, while also offering durability and longevity.

Solar Farm Fence Specifications
- Solar farm fences are generally constructed with 12’ posts, utilizing 6-7” posts for the braces and 5-6” posts for the inline posts as well as 12’ horizontal braces.
- There are a variety of different woven wire options to enclose your solar farm project, variables such as primary means of vegetation maintenance can be one factor that affects which woven wire is right for the project.
Deer Fence
Whether the purpose of the fence is to keep deer in at a deer farm location, or keep deer out at an orchard or vineyard, 8’ woven deer fence is a useful option to meet your needs.

Deer fence specifications
- Deer fences are generally constructed with 12’ posts, utilizing 6-7” posts for the braces and 5-6” posts for the inline posts as well as 12’ horizontal braces.

Horse Rail
Horse Rail is a type of equine fence that is intended to give the appearance board fence from a distance, while providing superior strength, durability and longevity surpassing traditional board fence.

Horse rail specifications
- Horse Rail is a poly composite material manufactured in a board or rail design with 3 high tensile wires running through the poly composite material to provide strength and support.
- Horse rail fences are typically constructed with 5-6" x 8’ inline posts set at approximately 12-15' intervals, with bracing consisting of a minimum of 5-6" x 8’ brace posts with either 8 or 10’ horizontal bracing.
Woven Sheep, Goat
Small ruminant fencing to keep sheep and goats in with peace of mind can be accomplished utilizing woven wire. This fence type can be highly effective for those troublesome escape artists that seemingly have a knack for getting out of the pasture.

- Woven can provide significant tension on braces thus bracing is critical for fence longevity. For most projects, braces consist of 5-6” x 8’ posts or 6-7” x 8’ with 10’ horizontal braces for increased strength. For longer distances, additional bracing may be necessary for adequate support.
- In-line posts are generally installed at 10-15’ intervals depending on the application and terrain with posts being either 5-6” x 7’ or 5-6” x 8’.
Orchard and Vineyard Trellis Systems
Trellis systems that are durable and designed for strength and longevity are necessary support systems for grapes and apples alike.

Orchard and Vineyard Trellis system specifications
- Trellis systems are generally constructed with at minimum the Penn State cooperative’s specifications for trellis systems. Utilizing 5-6” x 12’ posts set at a depth of 4’ and 30’ intervals.
